Watch: Hollywood Actors On Working With Ghanaian Film Maker Leila Djansi



Two celebrated Hollywood stars have shared their experiences working with Ghanaian film maker, Leila Djansi.

Vanessa A. Williams and Leon Robinson were guests on The Breakfast Club, an American syndicated show hosted by DJ Envy, Angela Yee and Charlamagne tha God to talk about the series ‘40 and Single‘ directed by Djansi.

They also spoke about shooting the production in Ghana, and experiencing life in the West African country.

’40 and Single’ tells the story of a single, bi-sexual, mixed race bridal fashion designer maneuvering life and business in post-colonial Africa.

Marie Humbert-Droz, Nikki Samonas, Adjetey Anang, Deon Matthews, Rama Brew and Vanessa A. Williams are some of the actors featured in the movie.

It premiered at the Urbanworld Film Festival in the United States of America on September 22, 2018.

The production won ‘Audience Award for Episodic Pilot’ at the 2018 LA Film Festival – an award given to a production audience liked most as voted by a tabulated rating system.

The festival is known as the “premier platform new works from emerging and established independent storytellers with unique voices and innovative visions.”

Yvonne Nelson Premieres Sin City On Val’s Day; Checkout Trailer.



Actress and producer, Yvonne Nelson will on Val’s Day February 14 outdoor a new movie titled, Sin City with a grand premiere at the Silverbird Cinemas in Accra.

Movie fans will be taken through yet another exciting cinema experience while they also learn from the movie.

Sin City tackles some of the difficulties in marriage and relationships, covering the mysteries of love, mortality, loyalty, and human vows.

Directed by Pascal Amanfo, it stars the 2018 Ghana Movie Awards Beast Actress In Lead Role award winner; Yvonne Nelson, Adjetey Anang, Kweku Elliot, Kunle Remi, Regina Van Helvert, Gabriel Narh Addo, Rosaline Meurer, Michelle McKinney Hammond and Oscar Provencal among others.

Coming from the stables of YN Productions, movie enthusiasts are assured of nothing but an awesome experience on Val’s Day.

Sin City tells the story of Philip (Kunle Remi ) and Julia (Yvonne Nelson), a couple high up on the ladder of success and living their dream. Their marriage seems perfect except they can’t seem to get to spend time with each other owing to Philips’ frequent trips.

Finally when they decide to spend time together and go away for a few days, then comes the twists and turns that movie enthusiasts will see for themselves on Val’s Day.

The premiere is expected to attracted all who matter in the movie industry and beyond.

On Friday Yvonne announced the movie with the release of its trailer on her Instagram.

“I wanna see you all on Val’s day .. its gonna be a party SINCITY Premieres on the 14th of February at the Silverbird cinemas Accra mall at 7pm sharp,” she said when she shared the trailer.

“Only Miracle Can Retrieve Your Investments” – Actor Prince David Osei To Aggrieved Menzgold Customers.



Award winning Ghanaian actor, Prince David Osei has stated that, investments belonging to customers of gold dealership firm, Menzgold Ghana Limited can be refunded by the intervention of miracle, as it has been closed down and unable to pay dividends.

According to him, the recent developments at the embattled gold dealership firm is not in its rightful position to pay off customers who have their investments with the firm.

Speaking to Entertainment show host and Critique, Prince Tsegah on an Accra based Asempa 94.7 Fm’s weekend entertainment show ‘Zoblazo’, the actor stated that, he knew that the company would fold up, as he realized customers were receiving outrageous profits.

David Osei stated that, it’s not surprising that customers have their monies locked up at embattled gold dealership firm, adding that, there is no investment that would give you an extremely huge profit.

Prince David Osei affirmatively revealed that, he was tagged jealous amongst his colleagues as plans to prevent them from investing with the firm proved futile.

Actor Prince David Osei stated that, It’s only a miracle that will make them get their investments back.

Princess Shyngle Survives An Accident.



Award winning Gambian Model and Actress Princess Shyngle has picked up a role in a movie titled, “Far From Perfect” and yet to the theaters.

Princess Shyngle lived up to expectation to display her acting adroitness and dexterity to perfect that scene, after encountering series of difficulties.

According to the Gambian actress, this is the first time experiencing and acting a death scene, a situation she describes as hilarious.

In a short video spotted on her social media handle, depicts how she represents a pedestrian who in an attempt crossing the road, a moving car knocks her down to death in her last role on set.

This has generated a lot of brouhaha amongst social media users, as they are expecting something nice from the Gambian actress.

Maame Dokono Discloses What Caused The Collapse Of Her First Marriage.



Grace Omaboe, a veteran actress who is popularly known as Maame Dokono has disclosed what caused the collapse of her first marriage, citing Celebrity ego as the cause.

The actress noted that leaving her first husband was her biggest regret in life and touching on what caused their separation, she said, “I was Maame Dokono by then. I made myself like a big woman and the family of my first husband did not like it. It was a family issue and I left. However, I’ve regretted leaving my first husband.”

The one time screen goddess indicated that she felt for, the looks and money of her second husband, but it turned out to be really bad because he had the money and the looks but with a bad attitude.

The veteran rounding up used the opportunity to advise young females in the art and entertainment fraternity to focus not on looks and money of men since that can be deceptive, adding they should go for good men.
