One of the biggest annual cultural music festivals to hit Dubai is making a big comeback, and it’s bringing in not one, not two, but 16 of the most talented artists from Africa for it. Setting up at the Festival Arena in Dubai Festival City, One Africa Music Fest 2019 aims to “change the way the world views and accepts African music and culture.” Oh, and to make you groove along to each beat.
Kicking off at 6pm on Friday November 15, one of Africa’s hottest pop stars, Wizkid will be performing some of his best tunes including Fever and Joro. Travis Greene, Tim Godfrey To Minister Live At EWC, Ghana.
The 2018 Stellar Awards Artist of the Year Travis Greene, will be in Ghana as part of activities lined up for the 2019 Heaven on Earth Conference.
The Heaven on Earth Conference is an annual conference organized by the Empowerment Worship Centre, under the leadership of Prophet Gideon Danso. This year’s event, which is themed “Thy Will be Done” will also see live ministrations from Tim Godfrey of “Nara Ekele Mo” fame and EWC Live.
The Conference is scheduled to take place from Wednesday 13th November – Sunday 17th November 2019 at 9 am for the morning sessions and 6 pm for the evening session at the church’s auditorium in Achimota, near the new bus terminal, right behind the Stanbic bank on the shell filling station complex.
Speaking at this year’s Conference will be Keion Henderson, Matthew Thompson, Bradley Knight, Dharius Daniels and Gideon Danso (Host). It promises to be an atmosphere of unadulterated worship, prayer, sound biblical teachings and sermons from the seasoned men of God.

Reggae/dancehall singer and award-winning Jamaican artiste -Chris Martin is set to thrill fans at the “Chris Martin -Big Deal” at KICC concert on December 7th.
The Jamaican sensation who is famed for hit songs – Cheaters Prayer, Too Big, Mama, Chill Spot among others will be returning to Kenya for the second time in 8 years and promises his fans a good show.
Speaking about his upcoming trip, the Cheaters Prayer hit maker said. “I am so excited to be coming to Kenya for the second time, I look forward to having a memorable time with my fans. Come lets party till dawn.”

Jon Germain, Others To Host Radio & TV Masterclass On November 28th.
Celebrated Ghanaian broadcaster Jon Germain will on Thursday November 28, 2019 host a Radio/TV personality Master Class at Swiss Alisa Hotel, North Ridge, Accra.
According to Jon Germain, who is spearheading the initiative, though the current generation of media practitioners are doing well but needs more training. The desire to see young people excel in the media space motivated him to start an initiative like this.
Speaking to him, he said, “I want to pass on the knowledge i have acquired as a media practitioner for over a decade to the new generation during my master class. In the past before you are given the opportunity to speak on radio or TV, you have to go through training and have a great voice in order to sound awesome and captivating for both listeners and viewers. But in recent times radio presenters do more music than speaking”
He added that at his master class which is targeting anyone aspiring to have a career in broadcasting or a practicing it, all nagging questions about the media landscape will be answered
The event will have other seasoned speakers which include; business mogul Prince Kofi Amoabeng, award winning broadcaster Kafui Dey as well as branding/ marketing expert Jeff Sowah who will provide valuable insights that will give you the tools to make the right decisions for a successful career in radio and TV.

Epixode Wins “Dancehall Artiste of the Year” At Greater Accra Music Awards 2019.
Ghanaian Dancehall Singjay, Epixode, has won 2 plaques at the Greater Accra Music Awards 2019! For more than a decade the energetic young Singjay and prolific performer got his hardwork rewarded last night at the awards’ ceremony when he picked up awards for “Dancehall Artiste of the Year” and “Dancehall Song of the Year” with “Kutu”, off his sophomore album #3nity (Trinity).
“Finally my hardwork and took over the years has been well recognized. The fact that I wasn’t there to receive it myself got me teary. My sleepless nights and toil was never in vain indeed,” Epixode orated.
Epixode is currently in Kenya for a media tour and a couple of mini gigs to spread his tentacles within the African space with his craft. He has been nominated to other awards in the past such as Vodafone GHANA Music Awards (VGMA), Bass Awards, just to name a few.
