Post-credits scenes have long been a Marvel movie tradition, to give fans an extra little shot of excitement, tease out future movies or throw in a cameo of, say, an esoteric comic book character.
That seemed to come to a startling end with April’s Avengers: Endgame, which didn’t have any additional post-credits scenes. This move allowed the events of that movie to stand on their own and let the audience focus said moments instead of hyping up the next big thing. That has since changed with June 28’s re-release of the film, which adds unfinished, deleted footage as a makeshift post-credits scene.
Now that a few months have passed since Endgame, it appears Spider-Man: Far From Home is going to rev up Marvel Studios’ teaser engines again. Spider-Man: Far From Home has two post-credits scenes: a mid-credits scene that directly hints at the future for Peter Parker, and another that appears after all credits have rolled, which directly ties the movie to the larger Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Here’s what happens in each of the movie’s credits scenes.
1) Spider-Man: Far From Home’s mid-credits scene teases Peter Parker’s future, and how J. Jonah Jameson will affect it.
At the end of the movie, Peter takes his new girlfriend MJ swinging through New York City, which she absolutely is not prepared for. The post-credits builds off of that, as he drops her off in Midtown Manhattan/Herald Square. When he drops her off, J. Jonah Jameson (the former Daily Bugle editor, in a cameo played by the character’s longtime actor J.K. Simmons) appears on a giant monitor/billboard with a breaking news announcement: Your friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man is actually your metropolitan villain.
Jameson then plays footage from Spider-Man’s final fight against Mysterio (a.k.a. ex-Stark Industries ex-scientist Quentin Beck) at the end of the movie, footage which was taken and edited by Beck’s team to make it look as if Spider-Man was responsible for the drone attack on London and Mysterio’s death. Jameson continues on to state that he knows who Spider-Man really is. He reveals that it is local high schooler Peter Parker — and ends his broadcast on a photo of Peter. The scene concludes with a cut to Peter and MJ, both in absolute shock.
What it means: The scene seems to hint that the next Spider-Man movie will entail Peter Parker handling the fallout after being painted as a villain and having his identity revealed. Jameson is going to be adversary, spinning every single one of Parker’s actions as nefarious. It also seems to indicate that the remainder of Beck’s team could be in the picture for future installments. What we don’t get in the scene is what will most importantly shape Spidey’s future — the answer to what kind of supervillain will emerge in this climate of the neighborhood turning on their friendly Spider-Man.
2) Nick Fury and Maria Hill were actually … Skrulls
After the credits wrap, Maria Hill and Nick Fury are driving and briefing someone about the events that just occurred — Peter Parker getting EDITH; Mysterio obtaining EDITH; Mysterio almost blowing up London; and Peter defeating Mysterio — when something shocking happens.
Maria reveals herself to be a Skrull, and Nick Fury reverts to a Skrull form too. They are the Skrulls known as Talos and his wife Soren, the Skrulls whom Carol Danvers helped in Captain Marvel.
Then it’s revealed that they’re actually relaying the report to the real Nick Fury, who is on what appears to be a Skrull spaceship taking a “simulated” vacation (he’s using holographic tech). Fury then ends his vacation and declares it’s time to get back to work.
What it means: Primarily that Maria Hill and Nick Fury aren’t as incompetent as they seemed to be. In Far From Home, the two make some dubious decisions — like trusting Mysterio, or putting Peter’s classmates in trouble, or simply staying out of touch with the other Avengers for no apparent reason. With both of them actually Skrulls, you can just chalk that seeming ineptitude up to the Skrulls’ inexperience with SHIELD responsibilities.
The scene also seems to hint at an idea that’s been tethered to the Skrulls in the comic books: You never know who may or may not be a Skrull. If the Skrulls can impersonate Hill and Fury, we don’t know who else may actually be a Skrull. And going further, what would stop a villainous Skrull from impersonating a very important hero?
Fury’s vacation raises a few questions about how the Skrulls have thrived since Captain Marvel helped them find a new home, and how close of a relationship humans and Skrulls have. Also, with Nick Fury ending his “vacation,” it seems like the Avengers — or some form of them — will soon be ready to get back in action … which we’ll have to wait for in a future movie.

“Desperate Actresses Give Sex To Get The Lead Role. – Vicky Zugah
Actress Vicky Zugah has revealed that most up and coming actresses, who are very desperate to get to the top, easily give in to sexual advances from movie producers and directors.
The actress noted that the phenomenon of sex for roles is a growing canker in the movie industry and producers are using that to take advantage of young actresses.
Speaking in an interview with Naa Ashorkor on Showbiz A-Z on Joy FM Saturday, Vicky noted the issue is on the rise and it is absolutely strange if a director does not ask an actress for sex for a role.
“Sex for roles in the movie industry is very real. I won’t lie about. It’s happened, it’s happening and it will happen again tomorrow and it’s normal,” she said.
The ‘My Darling Princess’ actress explained that, “If you are a woman and you are in the industry and no one is asking you out like a producer, a director or someone who is in charge isn’t asking you for sex then there is something wrong with you, this is what I think because men are attracted to what they see. If you are a fine girl, they will definitely ask you for something.”
She revealed that “Some [up and coming actresses] who are very desperate, they like to get to the top in a minute so they give it out to get what they want so it’s very real.”
With over a decade’s experience in the movie industry, Vicky Zugah disclosed that several directors and producers have demanded sex from her before they give her a role.
Asked if she has ever given in to any of the advances, she responded in the negative and said in “most cases I lose the role.”
The mother of two, however, admitted that she has had sexual relation with a director but not for a role. “He did a lot of jobs without me” because they are some roles that did not fit her.
“You don’t have to necessarily put people in a movie just because you are sleeping with them or you are dating them it’s not right. This one of the reasons the industry is not progressing,” Vicky lamented.
She strongly noted that most big movies feature actresses who have slept with directors or producers and therefore do not deserve their roles.
“You see some people playing a certain kind of role that they don’t fit in,” she stated.
The actress, who also revealed that some directors and producers demand cash for roles, advised up and coming actress that, “if you want to get to the top, work hard.”
She was emphatic that sleeping with directors does not guarantee that they will be cast for a role.
LION KING; THE GIFT: “They Messed The Music Up. – Elton John Criticizes Movie Soundtracks.
In a new interview with British GQ, Elton John shared some choice words about this year’s remake of The Lion King, which starred Beyoncé, Donald Glover, and more. “The new version of The Lion King was a huge disappointment to me, because I believe they messed the music up,” he said. After providing songs for the 1994 film, John added, “Music was so much a part of the original and the music in the current film didn’t have the same impact. The magic and joy were lost.”
John continued, “The soundtrack hasn’t had nearly the same impact in the charts that it had 25 years ago, when it was the bestselling album of the year,” he said. “The new soundtrack fell out of the charts so quickly, despite the massive box-office success.”
In addition to the new film’s standard soundtrack—which featured John’s previous compositions like “Can You Feel the Love Tonight,” as well as his new original “Never Too Late”—a companion album, The Lion King: The Gift, was released. It was curated by Beyoncé and featured Kendrick Lamar, JAY-Z, Tierra Whack, Childish Gambino, and more.

Eddie Murphy Poses With All 10 Of His Kids For The First Time.
A good looking bunch! Eddie Murphy’s, daughter, Bria, sent Instagram into a frenzy when she shared a Christmas photo of the 57-year-old comedian posing with all 10 of his children. It marked the family’s first public photo together.
In the portrait, the Beverly Hills Cop actor held Izzy, 2, while Butcher cradled their sleeping 3-week-old son, Charlie. The parents were surrounded by their moms and Murphy’s children from previous relationships: Eric, 29, Christian, 28, Angel, 11, Bella, 16, Zola, 19, Shayne, and Miles, 26.
Earlier this month, Us Weekly exclusively revealed that Los Angeles-based Murphy is caring for Angel while her mother, Mel B, recovers from emergency for two broken ribs in England. “Angel is very well cared for,” a source told Us at the time. “Eddie and Angel have been spending a lot of time together in recent months.”
The Spice Girls singer and Murphy dated for nine months in 2006. When the Brit became pregnant with Angel, Murphy demanded a DNA paternity test, which confirmed he was the father. But the exes have come a long way since then.
“He’s such a loving, caring, respectful person,” the America’s Got Talent judge gushed on Steve Harvey’s syndicated talk show in December. “It took a while to get there because we broke up not in the happiest circumstances.”
Murphy and Butcher starred in Big Momma’s House 2 in 2006, but they did not start dating until six years later. The Coming to America actor’s rep confirmed to Us in September 2018 that the pair were engaged.
