What started as an EP launch ended up as a mini concert when thousands of fans and music stormed the Kumasi City Mall in to support Strongman on his STN EP launch.
Fans who patronized copies of the EP had the opportunity to take photographs with the Strongman as he thanked them for accepting and supporting him in the music industry.
CD copies and merchandise brought were all sold out before the event to end with fans demanding for more.
The event attracted thousands of avid Sarkodie fans who thronged the West Hills Mall in their numbers to witness the ceremony and grab copies of the CDs. The venue was so packed it couldn’t contain the audience.
The ‘Still That Ni99a EP’ is a collection of 7 Hip Hop songs with features Sarkodie, Akwaboah, Shaker, Kwesi Arthur, B4Bonah and Worlasi.
MC’d by YFM’s NYDJ, the event also attracted a number of celebrities like Sarkodie, Akwaboah, Dr Pounds, Deon, YPee, DJ Bibini, Ratty, DJ Aromah, and a host of others.
Fuse ODG Defines Africa At The Launch Of His “New Africa Nation” Album In Ghana.
Ghanaian UK-based Fuse ODG started off with a song off his "New Africa Nation" Album succeeded by his club banger “Million Pound Girl” before a catalogue of his popular hits including "Boa Me" featuring R2bees and Ed Sheeran, "Anteena".
Ghanaian music fans are a forgiving lot. Annoy them all you want for as long as you deliver what was promised in the first agreement, they will turn up in droves and party until drop, as witnessed at the launch of “New Africa Nation” album concert show, Thursday night, hosted at the +233 Jazz Bar & Grill, in Accra and headlined by Ghanaian award-winning Afrobeats icon, Fuse ODG.
The event accumulated the presence of some well defined Ghanaian personalities including, Legendary Highlife musician, Gyedu Blay Ambulley, who collaborated with the Afrobeats performer, Fuse ODG to unleash an escalating performance, leaving an eternal memory on their minds.
Multiple awards winning Ghanaian rap genre of music artiste, Sarkodie's presence was felt amidst the launch of the ostentatious album, "New Africa Nation". He eulogised the Ghanaian UK-based for leading a temerarious and audacious heed to avert the brainwashed African diasporas, conniving it with a suprise performance of the "Down On One" tune.
The show primitively commenced with some distinctive words of poetry from a talented young Nigerian Ghanaian-based Writer/poet, Yom Nfojoh popularly known as Yom The Poet. Yom gave a magnificent taste of true african rich tales and great wise sayings, made to become something spectacular you have neither seen nor heard before.
Musician, Kojo Taylor also got a slot to deliver his artistry prowess, as he kept the atmosphere on a circle while patrons were waiting for the main act, Fuse ODG to mount stage.
Revelers at the show grooved their sweat off when the Ghanaian celebrated performing act took to stage at exactly 22:00 hours as he gave a splendid performance on stage backed by an electrifying and live band music which was virtually enjoyed by all patrons who trooped in to witness the Afro fusion and African artiste. Fuse ODG and his band started off from the outset with songs popular here and the crowd was ruptured in ecstasy.
The 31 year old Ghanaian singer's dancers burst onto the stage with such unmatched energy, demonstrating that versatility which has made dancing an essential and remarkable act on the minds of Africans.
Fuse' performance on the night compelled the European folks, including the British nationals to adjust to flamy environment created by the indigenous fans of the music star, as he performed most songs on his new album.
Fuse ODG was on a mission to pacify the storm he caused and one way of endearing himself to his indigenous fans. He educated the patrons on religion, urging them to entrust in themselves to achieve a successful life, as he noted that there is God in every human.
Although the musical accomplishments of Afrobeat pioneer, the Grammy and MOBO award-winning star's special assignment is much bigger than his music. Now a global star, he is using his platform to rebuild the image of Africa, both within the continent and throughout the world.
Amidst his performance at the launch of the "New Nation Album", he explained that, the album’s concept was to provide a platform to showcase Africa in a positive light, to develop a love for Africa, and also develop self-love for Africans and how to take Africa beyond aid and “mobilize the sleeping giant of the Diaspora”.
Fuse elaborates on the need for more events like TINA, explaining that, their mission is to develop a love for the continent, so people don’t just give them handouts, but rather they come and enjoy themselves, they come and see an investment opportunity.

UCC Gets A Colourful Experience With Kojo Manuel
The event which was hosted by Kojo Manuel, brought students out as early as 7am on a Saturday morning to jam in colour and party with the La Meme Gang! With music provided by the iPhone DJ, the music was top notch! The Azonto Twins were also present with their energetic moves.Social media was taken over with various colourful pictures and videos from the event which ended at10:30 am as students hailed Rexona for an awesome event.
The most intriguing aspect of the event was when Kojo Manuel had the crowd all jumping with splashes
of colour all round, staining the white shirt everyone had on but no one seemed to care as they jumped
in complete ecstasy and euphoria! This further cements Kojo Manuel as the best party MC so far!
Kojo Manuel Makes a Mark at Repu 2019
Once again, the biggest tertiary hall week celebrations came around and attracted people from all corners of the country.With events ranging from car washes, dogs shows, marathons, basketball tournaments,electrifying concerts and absolutely insane parties and raves.The most popular of these events were hosted by the phenomenal Kojo Manuel from the 15-
year old Epilogo party through Orjinal Beats jams and the Vodafone X Concert with featured Stonebwoy, Yaa Pono, La Meme Gang and Dope Nation. Also, hosted various off campus events.
Working closely with DJs like Neizer, Sleek, Aroma, iPhone DJ and others, Manny Yo further established himself as the rave master and TurnUp General as he drove the crowd through various brand activations and products to energetically jamming with the KNUST crowd. Safe to say, if you were at Repu 2019, you mostly likely jammed with Kojo Manuel at at least
one or two events.
Offei Unveiled, Kwesi Arthur, Others Attend Event.
Dwoods Productions, a US-based record label has officially signed and unveiled a budding musical sensation, Offei during a ceremony at Drip Lounge,Osu in Accra.
The event kicked off with a live performance from the young musician who thrilled patrons with his vocal dexterity and composed live performances.
Offei spoke to livefmghana.com after the signing, He mentioned that even though he has signed the contract he was still amazed at what God is doing in his life.
“I’m so elated that I’m filled with tears of joy. I feel so blessed and humbled to be part of such a wonderful family.”
Offei said Dwoods had come at a very crucial moment in his career when all hope was almost lost. “Most of my colleagues here would know what I am talking about,I do not want to bother you with the details, it has not been easy at all. But God being so good we’re here now.”
Mr Andrew Agyemang Woods, Chief Executive Officer of the Washington, DC based label stated that it was something unique they saw in the young lad that motivated them to bring him on board.
“Aside him having a very soothing voice and commercial vibe, Offei has a tight grip on live performances, it’s unlike anything I’ve seen in an up and coming artiste.”
He added that his team’s aim is to carve a solid brand for Ghana in the current Afrobeats craze engulfing the world.
“We want the world to know about our culture, what Ghana has got when it comes to Afro beats and get our up and coming ones across to the other side.”
Notable guests that were present at the occasion were Kwesi Arthur and his Ground Up Chaley crew, Mr Kelvin Fiifi Ampah,CEO of Ibem Ghana and partner to Dwoods Productions; Derek Amoaful, Producer , Prince Yeboah, artiste manager and Quame Duke Amihere, Offei’s PR and Brands manager all of Dwoods Productions.
