With few days to her arrival first time in Ghana, Una Morgan, group member of Morgan Heritage has released a new single exclusively for her Ghana fans.
“Evolution” is the title of the new song, tipped to be one of the major singles off her upcoming solo album. She featured Hood Prez & Jah D. Una herself and Mikal Asher are the Executive Producers for the record. Production credits go to akim Abdul Sahmad, released under Unafyed Entertainment, her own record label.
Una Morgan, Group member of Grammy award winning Jamaican Reggae Group, MORGAN HERITAGE, is expected in Ghana this July for an upcoming music concert dubbed “Roots Reggae Festival”.

Honoring One Of Ghana’s Highlife Living Legends – Ben Brako.
Ben Brako was born in Accra on 20th May, 1952, and has had a career spanning over 20 years. He has been regarded as one of the pioneers of modern indigenous Ghanaian Highlife music.
He booked an active interest in the music and entertainment world at a very young age and yet he is one of the few musicians who took his education very serious.
The music icon holds a BA in Agricultural Economics from the University of Ghana, and BA in Media Communication Studies from East London University.
His love for singing took a serious turn when he was invited to be the lead singer in a new music group, The Flames in his secondary school, St. Augustine’s College. The group became the first group in Ghana to use a melodica.
They became so successful that they were instantly accepted by the music lovers, when they decided to play for money during the holidays. When he got into the University Of Ghana, he formed another group called Agromba Gudureba to test out his own music.
His debut album, Baya, in 1987 brought his talents to the attention of the nation and African music lovers worldwide. The album went on to win The Leisure Foundation Album of The Year 1987, and Musician of the year 1987, and also received Gold status in 1988.
He was rewarded further for his musical talent by winning the ECRAG Mahogany award for consistency in highlife music in 1989.
He has since released several album and toured cities around the world including London, Nottingham, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Hamburg, Toronto, New York, Washington DC, Connecticut, just to mention a few.

Joe Mettle Out With Much Anticipated New Album ‘Wind of Revival’.
Ghanaian gospel music icon and 2017 VGMA artiste of the year winner, Joe Mettle has released his much-awaited new album, his 5th studio album ‘Wind of Revival‘ featuring the international gospel artiste Jonathan Nelson.
The 13 heartwarming tracks album comes with a spirit-filled live atmosphere of deep longing and a desire for a move of the Holy Spirit as the album titled portrayed.
Right from last year and earlier this year, fans have already enjoyed two amazing singles off this albums. ‘My Everything‘, and ‘Mehia Yesu‘ were songs that gave a hint of what should be expected in this album.
Joe Mettle recorded most of the songs on the album in a live environment, in the presence of worshippers both at Hope City Church and at his annual worship concert ‘Praiz Reloaded‘ at Perez Dome all in Accra Songs such as Pentecost, I see Miracles, Spirit Move, Power of Prayer, Tumi Wura, Hallelujah Song, Fa me Sie, Hide me and Sunsum Ndwom were all recorded live.
Notable on the album is the feature of the international American Gospel artiste and songwriter, Jonathan Nelson on two powerful songs that stirred up an amazing appreciation for the team on the night it was performed and recorded live. ‘Hide Me’ a classical piece with impeccable vocals and instrumentation and an Afro-praise ‘Hallelujah Song’.
Calvis Hammond came through to feature on a Ga song titled ‘Makamfo’ and Akosua Kyerenmaten was on point on the ‘Spirit Move’ song, giving it a delightful embellishment and ‘Icing on the cake’ flavor.
All songs were written by Joe Mettle except for ‘Power of Prayer’ which was written by Kwasi Annor and two public domain songs, ‘Makamfo’ and ‘Sunsum Ndwom’.
Also, apart from ‘Mehia wo Yesu’, and ‘Hallelujah Song’ which were arranged and produced by KODA all other songs were arranged and produced by Joe Mettle and the Love Gift crew.

Justice Amoah popularly known in the music circles as ‘Patapaa’ has launched his ‘Pa2pa Scopatumanaa’ album with a massive and thrilling concert at the Swedru Sports Stadium last Friday.
