Men Necklaces

Unlike women, necklaces aren’t something men naturally know how to wear. In the last decade men’s jewellery has evolved again, now more of a fashion accessory than anything else.

“Men wearing jewellery is definitely having a renaissance,” says Alex Simpson, founder of men’s jewellery brand Alex Orso.

Here Are 3 Styles Of Necklaces For Men.

Chains: Plain, unornamented chains of metal are a classic male adornment. They can create any number of looks, depending on the metal used, the length of the chain, and the style of links and the method of fastening them. They’re a statement on their own, whether they’re worn with a white T-shirt or a suit. The key to wearing a chain well is modesty. Keep the style understated, and keep the chain underneath your shirt. The small amount that’s visible is enough to make your statement for you.

Religious Emblems: Worth a quick mention are the various necklaces that denote religious affiliation or are tied to faith. Some of these are required/encouraged by specific faiths or sects, while others are merely personal displays of belief. In most cases, these are worn under the shirt against the body on a chain long enough that the ornament falls below the neckline.

Pendants: It’s an incredibly broad term, but a pendant-style necklace basically just means a single small ornament on a relatively long chain or cord, such that the ornament rests below your neck. These are common, popular, and versatile. The ornament can be anything from a shaped jewel to a clay tablet with a character etched on it to a tiny vial or scroll case, or just about anything else. As long as it’s small enough to rest comfortably against your breastbone, it’ll work. It can be worn outside casual shirts like T-shirts, but are usually tucked underneath anything with a turn-down T-shirt. A deep V-neck may, of course, bare enough of the chest that the pendant can be seen against the bare skin.

Adidas Yeezy Unveils Preview For 2020

2020 is here, and in addition to the commencement of a new decade, it also marks the 5th year anniversary of Kanye West’s first Yeezy sneaker release since signing with adidas. After raking in record-breaking numbers in terms of units sold in 2018, and ramping up the volume of new colorways and silhouettes in 2019, this historical partnership still shows clear signs of strength and longevity as the high demand from the mainstream audience only continues to roll over from one release to the next.

In 2020, we fully expect more Yeezys than ever before, and several are already confirmed for the new year. Get a rundown of adidas Yeezy releases in 2020 and check back regularly for the latest updates.

The adidas Yeezy line is a line of footwear created by Kanye West and adidas. After leaving a contract with Nike in 2013, West then partnered with adidas and released his first shoe — the adidas Yeezy Boost 750 — in February of 2015, followed by the original adidas Yeezy 350 in June of 2015. Quickly becoming one of the most desired lines on the market thanks to its limited quantities and West's A-list celebrity status, the line then expanded with models like the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 in 2016, the Yeezy Boost 700 in 2017, and the Yeezy 500 in 2018.

The sub-brand has wrought many a release in the past few years — some models more frequent than others — with 2019 closing out by way of colorful Yeezy Boost 350 v2s. 2020’s set of releases include much more in the same vein with colorways of the 700 v3, 500, and other series staples joining along with much more of their own.

adidas Yeezy shoes release on and at the following recommended retailers: SSENSE, Sneakersnstuff and Offspring. The after market is the only way you’ll be able to get a pair and we recommend buying from Stadium Goods which has a wide selection in styles and sizes. One of Africa’s literary giants Albert Chinualumogu Achebe passed away in 2013 aged 82 but his works continue to make headlines. 1. “The white man is very clever. He came quietly with his religion. We were amused at his foolishness and allowed him to stay. Now he has won our brothers, and our clan can no longer act like one. He has put a knife on the things that held us together and we have fallen apart”.

2. Eneke the bird: “Men have learned to shoot without missing their mark and I have learned to fly without perching on a twig”.

3. “Whenever you see a toad jumping in broad daylight, then know that something is after its life”.

4. “An old woman is always uneasy when dry bones are mentioned in a proverb. Okonkwo remembered his own father”.

5. “There is no story that is not true, […] The world has no end, and what is good among one people is an abomination with others”.

6. “A man who calls his kinsmen to a feast does not do so to save them from starving. They all have food in their own homes. When we gather together in the moonlit village ground it is not because of the moon. Every man can see it in his own compound. We come together because it is good for kinsmen to do so”.

7. ”Living fire begets cold, impotent ash”.

8. “Among the Igbo the art of conversation is regarded very highly, and proverbs are the palm-oil with which words are eaten”.

9. “When the moon is shining the cripple becomes hungry for a walk”.

10. “Okonkwo stood looking at the dead man. He knew that Umuofia would not go to war. He knew because they had let the other messengers escape. They had broken into tumult instead of action. He discerned fright in that tumult. He heard voices asking: “Why did he do it?”
