The record label which seems to possess the magic wand as they are the name behind arts likes; Eazzy, OJ Blaq, Asem, Ziggy, MzVee as well as Kuami Eugene and KiDi the current sensations undoubtedly deserve some accolades. The label which is led by Richie, a sensational musician who could be likened to Christ as he laid down his career to push others has stamped their authority in the industry and has a place.

In an interview, Riche Mensah the C.E.O of Lynx Entertainment who was awarded over the weekend at the Koforidua Technical University for his tremendous contribution to the industry in an interview poured out about his current artiste, his past signees, their relationship and how he feels about them leaving his label and not making it.

He said, “It is actually my wish to see all the artists the label has managed grow from strength to strength but the situation is not so and it hurts me.”

He continued to say, “It is heartbreaking to see your artiste leave the record label after intense sacrifice, promotion, shooting of video clips and everything. It feels like they didn’t appreciate the work you did and the record label has to start all over again with a new artiste.”

But responding to if he will accept any past signee back again onto the label he said, “If an artist works under my label and leaves there is no way I would accept him or her back. In fact, one of my former artistes who exited years ago wanted to come back, but I turned down the offer. I believe in building new brands and that is the talent God has given me,” he said.

Touching on how he feels about the success of his new rookies, he said, “I almost wept seeing Kuami Eugene and KiDi pick their first awards at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards this year.”
