Kojo Manuel joins YFM



MC/Hypeman Kojo Manuel is set to join Ghana’s biggest youth urban radio station, YFM.
Kojo Manuel disclosed to fans and followers via tweet that he was beginning a new adventure by hosting a new show on the youth-centered station.The show, called Raw Sauce is a weekly one which is to be aired every Saturday night from midnight to 2am.Congratulations Manny Yo!

Bola Ray, Anas, Joselyn Dumas, John Dumelo, Lexis Bill and other celebrities pay tribute to late Kofi Annan.



In the early hours of today, 18th August, 2018 a black start (Kofi Anan) was shot down to the surprise of many. 

The news of the demise of such a personality who served the world with his all and has always held high the flag of Ghana everywhere was a blow as Ghanaians grumbled to accept the news. 

In the confusion of it, a tweet from the Kofi Annan Foundation settled our doubts and we are left with no option than to come to terms with the reality.

“It is with immense sadness that the Annan family and the Kofi Annan Foundation announce that Kofi Annan, former Secretary General of the United Nations and Nobel Peace Laureate, passed away peacefully on Saturday 18th August after a short illness…” the Kofi Annan Foundation in a tweet said.

The first gentleman of the land has issued a directive that all flags of Ghana should fly half-mast across the country and in all of Ghana’s diplomatic missions across the world, from Monday, 20th August 2018, for one week as Ghana mourns the late Kofi Annan.

Mr. Annan was the first black African to take up the role of the world’s top diplomat, serving from 1997 – 2006 and also served as the UN special envoy for Syria.

The astute diplomat who died at age 80 after a short illness has set the internet agog as tributes pour in from all angles. 

Bola Ray, Anas, Joselyn Dumas, John Dumelo, Kwaw Kese, Edem, Lexis Bill and other celebrities also joined in and paid tribute to the late Kofi Annan.

Lilwin Enstooled Nkosuohene.



Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known in the showbiz circle as “Lilwin”, has been enstooled as the Nkosuohene of Duaponpo in the Afigya Kwabre East Constituency, in the Ashanti Region.

“Lilwin” per the enstoolment would now be known as Nkosuohene Nana Nkansah and has been tasked with the development and progress of the town with his massive influence in Ghana.

The iconic music and acting star, was honoured by the Chief of the Town, Nana Akwesi Gyabaa, for his massive impact on the lives of the people across the region.

“I was very surprised when the chief of the town announced to me his decision to honour me. I was delighted about this and am most grateful to the people of the town for accepting me as one of their own,” Lilwin told GNA Entertainment.

“Liliwin” further showed his appreciation for the Ghanaian entourage who have been supportive to his course so far as he promised more thrills.

“I must always thank God for taking me this far in life and I would like to thank all my fans, who have been supportive to my course so far, they should expect  the best from me,” he said.

Lilwin is expected to release another single titled “Oblogo” and he is also billed for the biggest bash in the capital dubbed “Homowo Bash” 2018 on Saturday, August 18, 2018.

King Promise, Kwesi Arthur & Kuami Eugene Nominated For AFRIMA Awards Regional Categories.

The nominees list for the 5th All Africa Music Awards, AFRIMA, has been unveiled by the African Union Commission, AUC, and the International Jury of AFRIMA at the Eko Hotels & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The released nominees list covers the five Regional Categories divided into Female and Male categories as follows:

Best Female Artiste in Central Africa; Best Male Artiste in Central Africa; Best Female Artiste in Eastern Africa; Best Male Artiste in Eastern Africa; Best Female Artiste in Northern Africa; Best Male Artiste in Northern Africa; Best Female Artiste in Southern Africa; Best Male Artiste in Southern Africa; Best Female Artiste in Western Africa and Best Male Artiste in Western Africa.

Ghana earned 3 nominations in the Best Male Artiste in Western Africa category with King Promise, Kwesi Arthur & Kuami Eugene getting nominated.

King Promise got nominated for his CCTV song which featured Mugeez of R2Bees with Kuami Eugene being nominated for Angela.

2018 BET Awards nominee Kwesi Arthur gained the nomination for his award-winning Grind Day Remix featuring Sarkodie & Medikal.

The three Ghanaians are up against Davido, DJ Spinall, Olamide, Starboy, Djodje (all from Nigeria) and MHD from Guinea.

Voting will begin on the 27th of August 2018.

KKD And Quick Action To Release A Song Together?



Crackerjack music producer Quick Action, real name Joseph Appiah has revealed that, himself and renowned broadcaster KKD are soon to drop a single. 

In an interview,  Quick action told host he is yet to release a new single featuring ace broadcaster Kwasi Kyei Darkwah in the coming days and I think that should be highly anticipated. 

He added, the ace broadcasters part played on the song will surprise many. Well, the KKD we know is not a singer nor a rapper so hearing Quick Action say he featured him is a big deal to us.

Meanwhile, the date of release and the title of the song is not yet known as the producer is tight-lipped on the details.

Quick Action who also detailed he is working on Samini’s Reggae album titled “Ohema” promised more surprises in the forthcoming days. 

We will surely investigate and bring to you the needed details on this much anticipated collaboration.
