Jewel Taylor, Ibrahim Mahama, Mo Abudu, Bogolo Kenewendo Honoured At 2018 African Achievers Awards At UK House Of Parliament

The 2018 African Achievers Awards which was held on July 5th, 2018 at the UK House of Parliament has presented various honours to distinguished Africans from across the continent and in the diaspora.

The ceremony which was chaired by Susan Fajana Thomas -former Mayor of the London Borough of Hackney & Chairperson of the African Achievers Awards Board and hosted by Rt. Hon. Diane Abbott (Current Shadow Home Secretary, United Kingdom) was held on the theme; Girls right to Education; a case for Africa.

Speakers at the ceremony included: H. E Jewel Cianeh Howard Taylor, vice president of Liberia, who delivered the Keynote Address, Dr Josephine Ojiambo, Immediate past Deputy Secretary General of the Commonwealth as special Guest Speaker, Justina Mutale, founder of the Justina Mutale Foundation and Author, Novelist and Poet, Titi Horsfall.

Lindsey Oliver, Founding Director of Aljezeera & Mo Abudu, Founder of Ebony Life TV also delivered goodwill messages at the ceremony.

Now in its 8th edition, the awards has consistently honoured great African Achievers from African Leaders, Young Achievers, and Community Builders to Captains of Industries across the continent.

Speaking at the event, Principal Partner of the award, Tonye Rex Idaminabo congratulated all the winners and urged them to extend their experience through mentorship to teaming young people across Africa.

Currently, she works as a consultant at United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). She formerly served as the Executive Director of the Uganda Investment Authority), Dr. Paul Enenche (Senior Pastor Dunamis International), Mrs. Titi Horsfal, Sir Celestine Omehia, Mr. John Momoh. Joyce Blessing To Headline Power of Praise Concert In Chicago

Ghanaian Based international Gospel musician Joyce Blessing is implausibly doing great with her ministry and musical career as far as 2018 is concerned.

The multi award winning gospel minister has been touring the United States of America and Canada for the past few months to Augment her ministry and promote her current “I swerve you” hit song.

Joyce Blessing recently headlined a successful concert in Toronto dubbed “Joyce Blessing Live in Concert on 3rd November. The concert according to Canadian residents, turned out to be the biggest Gospel event ever held by a Ghanaian based Gospel artiste in Canada.

The.” I Swerve You ” crooner is again ready to bless lives with her ministration as she is set to headline another event in Chicago dubbed the “Annual Power of Praise”. The 3-day event will host Christians in Chicago at the Church of Pentecost USA Inc.from 23rd November to Sunday, 25th November. The likes of Chicago based Gospel singers Herty Winner, Chicago Central Choir, Greater North Choir, Sophia Mcakeown Revival Choir, Christ Oases Power Choir, Living Comfort Choir and more will also minister at the annual power of Praise concert.

The Zylofon Music signee is currently buzzing with her newly unleashed worship song titled “Onyankopon” (God)

Wendy Shay, D-Black, DKB, Ibrah And Other Celebs Party Hard With DJ Mensah.

Yesterday, ‪Friday 2nd November‬ 2018, Soho (Marina mall, Airport City) hosted the 2018 edition of the DJ Mensah all white party.

Wendy Shay and her team were seen partying like no one’s business amidst her dumb question saga. It’s obvious she has moved forth from that and doing just fine.

The Untouchable Dj Mensah’s event was well attended by celebrities and among the notable faces were D-Black and his Bam Music arts, DKB, Bullet, Kelvyn Boy among others.

The annual”Dj Mensah All White Party”  since its inception in 2005 has been a yearly event you are never to miss. This year’s “Dj Mensah All White party” dubbed “Party for unity” blew minds and left an imprint as it was lit.

In marking their 10th year of operations in Africa, BF Suma Pharmaceuticals Inc. manufacturers of herbal products and health supplements yesterday lined up gallant arts from Ghana and Nigeria at the Fantacy Dome.

Yesterday, October 27, 2018, the Fantacy Dome, Trade Fair, Accra-Ghana played host to thousands who thronged the event grounds. 

The night was made lit as KiDi, Kuami Eugene, Olamide, Tiwa Savage from Nigeria and with support from Wendy Shay, La Même Gang, Dope Nation turn up the place while the top Shatta of our time Shatta Wale and his militants closed the show in style.
