The forum, which was hosted by Multichoice Ghana brought together key stakeholders from the industry who discussed the formation of an umbrella organization that could speak with one voice and draw up a policy to deal with issues impacting the industry as well as promote the interests of record companies, songwriters, musicians, managers, publishers, producers, promoters, distributors and collecting agencies. This organization will also have the task of undertaking ground breaking research to track market trends and forecast future business opportunities as well as provide relevant data about the industry.
