Eazzy To Host Red Carpet For Glitz Style Awards – 2019.



Eazzy, Ghanaian versatile singer who has worked with the likes of Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, Mr. Eazi and more is on a new gig.

Every year, Ghanaian fashion is well celebrated in a whole different grand style as many personalities take their choice of fashion scene to the annual show Glitz Style Awards.

Announcing personalities to take over specific positions in this year’s event, Eazzy has been announced as a very hot host for the red carpet.

Eazzy on the hand has lead major event such as pageant shows, award events and more to mark good success.

The 2019 Glitz Style Awards will officially go live on 14 September at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra.

Eazzy is out with a new Jam titled “For The Where” which featured Joey B.

Knii Lante Honored By The Trust Hospital.



Award-wining vocalist and Physician Specialist, Knii Lante, also known as Dr Nii Lante Blankson, was last Saturday November 16, 2019, honored with a Special Award at an event organized by The Trust Hospital (TTH) at the Ibis Styles Accra Airport City Hotel.

The Special Award is recognition by the Doctors of TTH of Knii Lante’s hard work, being the hospital’s first-ever permanent Physician Specialist, who also developed the medical facility’s first-ever treatment protocols for internal medicine and other general practices he initiated.

In receiving the award, Knii Lante, the versatile musician whso masterfully composes music across genres from afro-pop, ballads to reggae, had this to say;

“I’m grateful to all the doctors, my colleagues, who have helped me out in my stay at The Trust Hospital and I’m also grateful to all the nurses who have been there to help us out, the orderlies and everyone.’’

In sharing the news with his fans on social media, @KNIILANTE wrote on his twitter and instagram pages with an accompanying video and photos from the ceremony;

“Hello fam!…i’ve got a message for you all. Remember to stay true to yourself, yet always be open to learning, work hard and never give up on your dreams even when nobody else believes they can come true but you. These are not clichés but real tools you need no matter what you do in life to stay focused on your path.”

He further went on write “I was honored by fellow doctors. Truly it has not been easy but I give thanks. Thanks also to all my colleague doctors, the CEOs (past and present), the nurses, pharmacists, the paramedical staff etc that I’ve worked with. Finally thanks to my family and Deluge Entertainment for putting up with my crazy life and schedules. Love! Kpashhh!!”

Knii Lante is currently promoting his latest afrobeats banger, Baby Be Mine featuring Chymny Crane produced by itzCj Beatz. The video directed by Oshkari Films is almost hitting a 100k views on youtube.

DJ Sly Wins 2019 “Youth DJ of the Year” Category At The YEAs.



Ghana’s multiple award-winning Disc jockey, DJ Sly has been awarded the 2019 Youth DJ of the Year at the recently held Youth Excellence Award at the Silver Star Towers.

The Youth Excellence Awards which was instituted to reward and motivate visionary Ghanaian youth, has awarded other young Ghanaians including ZionFelix, GlennSamm, Belo Cida Haruna & Kobby Kyei.

DJ sly is on record as the first Ghanaian DJ to host a solo concert pulling over 30,000 fans to his signature concert in 2018. And as a DJ, he has collaborated with both local and international acts to release hit songs which have been listed in various music charts.

The event put together by Cliq Empire was attended by hardworking Ghanaian youth in their various field of work.

Patapaa To Headline 2019 Central Music Awards.



Hiplife musician Justice Amoah popularly known as Patapaa is said to headline the 8th edition of the Central Music Awards and the 1st regional awards scheme in Ghana.

Patapaa who is best known for his 2017 debut single “One Corner”, and in 2019, came up with the phrase “Sco Pa Tu Manaa” which quickly became a social media sensation and further boosted his popularity is expected to bring the stage alive with his colleague in the music industry in the Central Region.

The Central Music Awards is designed to celebrate and honour the unique efforts of musicians and entertainment personalities in the Central region and also around the globe.

Heritage Event Promotions is the sole organizer for CMA 19 and it is to serve humanity through music/entertainment benefits entirely from their sacrifice.

This event has over the last seven editions grown to become the biggest music event in the Central Region.

Conservative estimates for 2018 edition put the figure for direct participating at 30,000 people at the Nominees Jam held in Mankessim on November 25, 2018.

‘We had 980 people at the main event on December 26, at CNC, Cape Coast and indirect participation could not be counted,” the organizers stated.

The Music event can boast of Teephlow who won ”Record of the Year at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA), Patapaa, Eshun, Real Mc, Evan IK Aning(Borborliborbor) who were all nominated in the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.There are the likes of  Orkortor Perry,Richie Rhymz, Kahpun, Kobby Symple, Skuulboys, Tutulapatu winner of TV3 Talented kids, Lokal, Rebjoe, Boggy Wednesday, King Xzibit, Mikey Gh who have been nominated in Ghana Music Awards U.K, Abolo,Size Zero,Sticker, Nana Beesi, Bra Chackie, Ekow Shyne, Gully Crank, Ekow Marvel, Jay Yorke,Gojit,Buda, JayPee, Froust Gee, NeuJay,Kawoula, Akos winner of TV3 mentor season 7 and several others who are now household names in the Central Region.

In addition, respected music legends from the Central Region that have made the region proud by successfully contributing their quota to the music industry like Ebo Taylor, Ben Brako, Bessa Simons and Rev. Yawson have been awarded accordingly in the previous editions.

The CMA is awarding yet another legend from the region this year under the Lifetime achievement category for his dedication and contribution to music in Ghana.

The Central Music Awards has varied objectives some of which includes adding a new platform for especially the young to meet, make healthy merry and revive our dying live music; establish guidelines for all up and coming artistes to meet the national standard of music production and in turn meet the demand of the competitive Ghanaian music industry and beyond; to promote national collaboration for musicians from the Region and advance the effective dissemination of their music for benefit of artistes and the Region at large and to make available the artistes from the region and their genre of music to stakeholders in and beyond the country.

Other objectives include seeking and generating funds to support some deprived sections of the region as part of our social responsibility; celebrate and reward hard work, determination and commitment; inculcate in artistes unity and the act of socializing with fans; to serve as an avenue for job creation; to champion the positive lifestyle of their musicians and creating a platform to showcase the works and ordeals of our musicians.

This year’s comes off on November 30, 2019.

MVAs’19: Shatta Wale Add 5 Laurels To His Plaque Cabinet.



The 10th edition of the annual 4Syte Music Video Awards came off at Kempinski Hotel on Saturday, November 16. The event saw dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale, taking home five awards, the highest number of awards won by an artiste on the night followed by Sarkodie, who came through with three.

Shatta Wale won the Most Influential Artiste, Best Chune with ‘My Level’ and Best Edited Video, Best Reggae/Dancehall Video, Most Popular Video all with his 2018 hit song ‘Gringo’. Sarkodie took home three awards including Best Male Video, Achievement Award, and Best Hip Hop Video while Stonebwoy was awarded for Best Collaboration.

Rising acts, Quamina MP and Cina Soul, won the Best Discovery award and the Best Photography awards, respectively.

The 2019 4Syte Music Video Awards has been dubbed the most exciting edition in the last five years. Many artistes including Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, R2bees graced the event alongside other celebrities. Also performing together at the event were rapper Medikal and local Jesus, Mmebusem.

With over 20 categories, this year’s event honoured artistes, directors and key industry players in Ghana and across Africa.
