Ghanaian Renowned celebrity blogger who doubles as a rapper Sammy Kay , has released a bloggers anthem which hits hard on celebrities who disrespect and show no appreciation to bloggers despite the tremendous support they(bloggers) give to them (celebrities).

Spitting some bars on a groovy beat produced by Article Wan , Sammy Kay exhorted Shatta Wale,Criss Waddle,Stonebwoy,Kontihene and other  celebs to show gratitude to bloggers because they contribute immensely to their career. 

“Celebrities must appreciate the work of bloggers because they can’t survive without them (bloggers),this is because bloggers bridge the gab between celebrities and their fans”…..Sammy Kay stated.

Accompanied with a mind blowing video staring all the popular bloggers and celebs in Ghana including Ameyaw Debrah, Nkonkonsa,Zionfelix,Ghkwaku,Ronnie is Everywhere ,Kuami Eugene, Mzgee and more.

“Go Online” is the title of this song from Sammy Kay .

Born Samuel Dortey Kumah,a Ga-Adangme descent from Kpone, Sammy Kay’s parent Mr Emmanuel Abladey Kumah and Mrs Christiana Dede Kumah, inspired his music life but never supported his music journey.

Sammy Kay loving music and blessed with rap talent pursued music for 3 years although his parents wanted him to be an accountant after completing Ghanata Secondary School now Ghanata Senior High School Dodowa in 2009 

Since the music business failed as a result of lack of finance, Sammy Kay who does not take any opportunity lightly ended up studying accounting in Accra Polytechnic (Accra Technical University) after getting a job as an accounting clerk in an auditing firm called Lobban Hyde Chartered Accountants.

Completing Accra Technical University in 2015 , Sammy Kay gained the opportunity to work with Peace Fm as a National Service personal and in May 2017 established Sammykaymedia.

With the aim of promoting brands and businesses digitally, Sammy Kay is committed to redefining the narration of blogging in Ghana through music with the help of industry colleagues after gaining degree in Public Relations  from Ghana Institute of Journalism.

“I’m Not Ebony Reigns’ Replacement. – Nikki Banks

GREATER ACCRA, GHANA - Belinda Asabea, Ghanaian born reggae-dancehall, and afro-fusion recording and performing artiste, known within the entertainment landscape as Nikki Banks, has stated that, contrary to reports circulating within the media space, she is not the replacement of the late reggae-dancehall diva, Ebony Reigns.

According to the Double flex entertainment and record label frontliner, she has a unique personality that is totally different to the late singer, Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng, explaining that, she posses characteristics and qualities that embolden her to look odd out of the masses.

Reports circulating within a cross-section of the traditional media and on the social media has it that, Nikki Banks is a perfect replacement for the late Ebony Reigns as far as her voice and singing style are concerned. Ebony was killed instantly in a traffic collision on 8 February 2018 whilst returning from Sunyani to Accra after a visit to her mother.

However, speaking in the opposite direction of these reports, Nikki Banks revealed that, she's never the replacement nor the successor of the late Ghanaian musician, urging the traditional media to desist from such reportage and accept her as who she is, so that she can produce and release good song for love of the culture.

Nikki Bank was born and raised in Akuapem Mampong in the Eastern Region, of Ghana, Berlinda comes from a family of 5; she is the second born. She cites the music of Jane Macgizmo as an early influence at an early age. The girlhood idol became her mentor when she was at the age of 12.

Upon discovery, Double flex entertainment took her under his wing to show her the ropes of the music industry and introduced her to her manager, a music business mogul, Latoya Smith who would go on to manage Nikki’s illustrious career. She currently has her first single out titled, "Roman Sister", produced by one of the finest Beat makers MOG.

The tune comprises of distinctive musical communication elements, incorporating instrumentals and vocal tones in a structured and continuous manner. In the song, Nikki Banks was responding to critics who were describing her to be naughty and a bad girl. According some critics, she does the unthinkable just to achieve what she wants, but to deny all these claims, Nikki stated that she is a Roman Sister, that even make her a good girl.

Renowned gospel act, Akesse Brempong, has announced the release date for his 3rd album recorded live during 2 separate editions of his annual flagship event, Agape Carnival, dubbed, Heal Our Land.

The much-awaited album by the ‘God Is Working’ hitmaker would be released across all online music stores and digital platforms on the 12th of November, 2019. The release will be followed up by a Live performance during an official Facebook Live session with his global fanbase to outdoor the new album.

“Stop The False Reportage On My Birthday Gift. – Shatta Wale Urge Bloggers

Few days after celebrating his 31st Birthday, Dancehall King Shatta Wale has found himself in a tango with some bloggers for spreading what he described as “false rumours” about his friend, Kofi Amoa-Abban.

Reports published by several social media bloggers claim that Ghanaian Oil and Gas entrepreneur and philanthropist, Kofi Amoa-Abban, is the brain behind Shatta Wale's latest car addition; the 2019 model of Range Rover.

The report suggested that the car was gifted to Shatta Wale on his birthday by Mr. Abban who personally delivered the car to the dancehall artiste.

Meanwhile, after receiving the Range Rover on Thursday, Shatta Wale shared a photo of the car on his Instagram page with a caption; “2019 Range Rover birthday gift from my Godfada ..Help say thank you to him for me ..This one is too much for me .. Now dierrrr more Pah Pah Pah," without stating who that Godfada is.

However, bloggers who picked on the Instagram post concluded that the said car was from Mr. Abban.

The Dancehall artiste who became uncomfortable with the false publication again took to his Facebook page and urged the bloggers to research well enough before putting things out in the public domain.

He wrote: “All the bloggers spreading false rumours. about my friend should stop right now. II didn’t tell you he bought me a car. Let’s try to make this life we living be a better one for us all.”

Shatta Wale who believes he wasn’t too hash on bloggers with his post asked them to “Please research before you put certain things out as professionals.”

It would however be recall that Kofi Amoa-Abban, was the same brain behind Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy’s peace after their brawl at the 2019 edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).
